Dukungan Sosial dan Faktor Lain Yang Mempengaruhi Kualitas Hidup Wanita Dengan HIV/AIDS

Orang dengan HIV/AIDS tidak hanya membutuhkan pengobatan untuk mengurangi ketidaknyamanan fisik, namun juga membutuhkan dukungan sosial untuk mengatasi kecemasan dan kegelisahan psikologis. Dukungan sosial sangat penting dalam menjaga kesehatan fisik dan mental yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan status dukungan sosial wanita dengan HIV/AIDS dan mengeksplorasi faktor lainnya yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup mereka di Kecamatan Patrang, Kabupaten Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu cross-sectional dengan menggunakan convenience sampling dan pengambilan data melalui kuesioner dengan SSRS (Social Support Rating Scale) dalam waktu tiga bulan dari Maret hingga Mei 2025 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 92 wanita dengan HIV/AIDS. Diketahui terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan emosional (p=0.01 ) dan dukungan penilaian (p=0.03), serta faktor lainnya lamanya terapi ARV (p=0.03) dengan kualitas hidup wanita dengan HIV/AIDS. Temuan ini diharapan dapat memberikan dasar untuk intervensi antara lain pembentukan kelompok dukungan sebaya (peer-support groups), program konseling yang terfokus pada penguatan harga diri, serta pelatihan bagi keluarga dan komunitas untuk memberikan penghargaan dan rasa hormat kepada wanita dengan HIV/AIDS yang akhirnya meningkatkan kesehatan serta kualitas hidup mereka.
